Loutje Hoekstra

Meet... Loutje Hoekstra.
This 29-year-old self-taught artist discovered her passion for drawing while studying biology. “I am expressive and have the need to express something of my inner world. I can do that best in images, with paint or ink.” She recorded everything she learned about (especially nature) in scribbles. This gave rise to the 'game' of drawing from 1 line. “The great thing about that is that you have to quickly grasp the essence of what you are drawing. I thought that was a very nice way to capture and study the nature around it and to add emotion to the drawing.” Loutje's style can mainly be defined as fluid, figurative and not too literal..

Creative vision on panels
Development, warmth and comfort. That is what Loutje wanted to radiate with her designs and what of course fits perfectly with the heating panels. The designs are diverse; from a minimalist to a somewhat busier image. Each design has a different message and meaning. Yet you can see her characteristic, soft, but fresh style in every panel.

Chantal Bles

Meet... Chantal Bles.
Chantal is 38 years old and found her passion in interior styling. “I wake up with it and go to bed with it!” With a preference for the 70s and organic shapes, she is most in her element when she can mix different materials to create depth. Chantal likes to let her imagination run wild, advises her clients based on her expertise, but always tries to design an interior especially for the resident. “I never make an interior in such a way that I could live in it, but I really tailor the design to the person in the house.”

Creative vision on panels
The four-leaf clover is central to Chantal's designs. For her, this symbolizes her family, relatives and love. “It has been our family crest from the moment I married my husband!” The four-leaf clover appears in every design, combined with organic shapes and colors that are currently trending. “I feel honored that I was able to participate in this and can't wait to see my designs hanging in people's homes!

Tanja Minnee

Meet … Tanja Minnee.
In addition to making illustrations, Tanja works as a model and model agent. “I once came to Amsterdam for classical ballet training, but then ended up moving very organically into the fashion industry.” Her entire working life after this has always been fashion related. Her mother always had a great love for Jugendstil and Art Deco movements. She was always surrounded by artists such as Gustav Klimt and Alfons Mucha during her childhood. “When I look at my work from a distance, I see that these influences unconsciously return in my drawings.”.

Creative vision on panels
Tanja believes it is important to make the world a little more beautiful in her own way. Because nature can actually be found in (almost) all her work, it is no surprise that this is an important theme for her. “With the panels I support the sustainability theme that we can no longer ignore. In this way I contribute a small part to a healthier planet with my art”

Creator

Studio HOHM

Meet… Joy, the creative brain behind Studio Hohm.
For a few years now she has been creating art from her own chaos of life. With her minimalist artworks she challenges traditional views on design and composition. By bending and folding geometric shapes in paper, a beautiful deformation is created. The end result is a work of art that perfectly balances between order and chaos, a harmonious interplay of form and freedom..

Creative vision on panels
Joy wants to show with her designs that chaos is necessary for order and that life takes shape as it comes, just like the works of art. In addition to bringing warm comfort into your home, the abstract panels are a beautiful addition to any room.

Creator

Erik Timmermans

Meet… Erik Timmermans.
Erik from Amsterdam is a painter, illustrator and also has a passion for writing. In 2019 he wrote a book about the German Democratic Republic (GDR). “I became fascinated by the stories of citizens from the disappeared country.” He wanted to capture all the stories in images and thereby show that the association with a communist country, such as the GDR, requires nuance. He makes both conceptual and figurative work that results in paintings and objects. Is the work cubist, figurative or conceptual? The viewer can say it.

Creative vision on panels
In the most recent series of paintings, Erik uses elements of the prefabricated gray flats from the former GDR to build new, more colorful facade structures. The story behind the facades is at least as important as the image itself. “There is tension between representation and meaning”
